Once upon a time, this bar and restaurant was an
actual bank, which gives the place its rich sense of history. Original safe-deposit boxes still line the walls, and a trip to the toilets will lead you past the dramatic vault door, a little reminder of the building’s past life. Just make sure you don’t get locked in…
Today, THE BANK is all about
sharing food, great cocktails and enjoying good music in a former bank.
Our
menu
is built for sharing: nachos with guacamole and cheese, feta & ricotta dip with Lebanese bread, crispy chicken tenders with sriracha mayo, broccoli & cream cheese dip, crispy cauliflower with peanut yoghurt, fries and sweet potato fries with truffle mayo, and more.
On top of that, we now specialise in artisanal
croquette sandwiches: think cheese, grey shrimp, Ganda ham, vol-au-vent and other rotating flavours, all served in soft brioche buns. Add XL fries, truffle mayo and sharing boards, and you’ve got everything you need for a table full of food.
Located
at the end of Rue du Bailli, just a few steps from the buzzing Place du Châtelain, THE BANK is your neighbourhood spot for sharing plates, croquette buns, weekend brunch and late-night drinks.
Our brunch
runs every Saturday and Sunday until 4 pm, with salty pancakes topped with eggs and bacon, cream cheese and salmon, açai bowls, eggs Benedict and other brunch favourites. Late risers who crave a detox juice, or a mimosa.... are very welcome.
At the bar, our bartenders have built a solid reputation for making cocktails à la minute. Stick to a classic or let yourself be surprised by one of our signature creations or our Cocktail of the Week.
The Bank Live Music & DJs
On Friday nights, once the kitchen closes, we push the tables aside and turn THE BANK into a dancefloor with our DJs and feel-good sounds. On weekends, selected brunch services come with extra music – from vinyl DJs to warm, soulful sets – and from 2025 we’re adding more intimate acoustic live sessions to the mix.

We are not your average cocktail place: our very own mixologists take pride in making exceptional creations. You can choose a classic or dare to try one of our special craft cocktails.
Our little secret: If you ask nicely, our bartenders will try their best to make you the perfect cocktail based on your favorite flavors. This also comes alcohol-free!
